The George Foundation is a charitable trust committed to the welfare and education of children from economically and socially deprived backgrounds, and to those affected by adverse environmental conditions. The Foundation currently runs a world-class boarding school for deprived children in Tamil Nadu, India. It has also launched programs to eradicate Lead poisoning in developing countries. Two additional projects under way are: Early Detection and Prevention of Diseases through the use of software technology (EDPS2000), and the promotion of fine arts by those from poor backgrounds (Tillany Fine Arts Museum & Gallery).
